As a first effort, NegusWorld wanted the NWWP 2014 to cater to the needs of a youth-based organization we already had a great relationship with. We collaborated with Prosjekt Haiti, an organization that exists to notably improve the living conditions and educational prospects of children and their families in Haiti.

Prosjekt Haiti founded 2 schools situated in Port au Prince and in Saint Louis du Sud. The schools have 40 local staff and host 300 students from first through sixth grade.
Along with providing education, the schools serve 300 meals a day. The food is purchased with donations from other organizations, schools, businesses, and private individuals.

For many of these children, a day spent learning at one of Prosjekt Haiti’s schools is also their only opportunity to get a meal.

For the launch of the NegusWorld Wide Party we wanted to provide the children supported by Prosjekt Haiti with as many meals as possible so they could focus on getting a good education.
